Recipients of their Gold Awards included those from Government Schools, Private Schools, the Department of Human Services as well as Independent Recipients. Independent Recipients generally have commenced their Award with Licensed Operators and since continue on through the ACT State Award Office.
In her welcome speech, Her Excellency praised the young people receiving their Awards and urged them to take their achievements gained, with the invaluable help they had received from their parents and Award Coordinators, back into the community to help others.
