Types of AJ
An expedition is a journey with a purpose!
In an expedition the primary focus is on the journeying.
An exploration is a purpose with a journey!
The focus is to observe and collect information relevant to the purpose, where only one third of the planned activity is spent on journeying.
An Adventurous Project is usually suited to those over 18 years old as it tends to require more innovation, creativity and challenge. Discussion with Award Leaders (Coordinators)* and State/Territory Award Operating Authority (State Award Office)* is required for approval.
