Adrienne Khouri
ventured to Uluru and surrounding areas for 12 days as part of her Adventurous Journey for her Gold Award along with 21 other Gold Participants, travelling by foot, car and camel, and being exposed to all the elements Mother Nature had to offer.
The trip formed such a strong bond of friendship between the Participants that Adrienne decided to use her musical and vocal talents to compose a song about the journey called ‘Not Many People.’
Arranging the song herself, Adrienne drew on her experiences she had developed over the years as she had been performing as a singer since primary school, playing the piano and writing her own songs for the past four years.
The 'Not Many People' song talks of the highs and lows of the outback journey and the lifelong friendships which were created.
It was so inspirational to not only the girls who took part in the journey, but also teachers and others students from the school that Adrienne was invited to perform the song at Town Hall during a speech night.
Her incredible performance was captured on video and is now online for all to experience which you can see below
