Coordinator Responsibilities

Coordinators are the most important influential people to Participants, as they have regular contact and look up to them as mentors and leaders.

As such, there are responsibilities a Coordinator has to both the young people they lead and The Duke of Ed itself

The responsibilities that come with being a Coordinator are:

  • Advising, guiding and assisting young people to participate in The Duke of Ed
  • Ensuring access to The Duke of Ed is readily available to all
  • Ensuring members of all social groups within your organisation are considered and catered for
  • Engaging with Participants who are experiencing lack of motivation and direction - get them inspired!
