Dukes Week Trivia Night
Dukes Week Trivia Night
Each year, Victoria dedicates one week in August to “Dukes Week”, whereall Licensed Operators celebrate The Duke of Ed and are encouraged to hold a fundraising event for The FLARE Project.
Funds from The FLARE Project (Funding Leadership Access Real Engagement) assist in subsidising The Award costs for the disadvantaged to promote accessibility of The Duke of Ed in Victoria.
This year Dukes Week coincided with International Youth Day (12 August). To celebrate, Young Ambassadors of Awards Victoria. thoseGold Awardees who have completed their Award and have remained connected with The Duke of Ed, organised a trivia night.
Over 160 guests attended the event and were challenged with a range of music, film and general knowledge questions. The event included a silent auction, a raffle as well as a range of other fundraising activities.
James from The Duke of Ed Victoria says “The night was a fantastic event and really highlighted the abilities of our Young Ambassadors to rally together for a good cause.”
The night was a huge success with over $4,200 raised for The FLARE Project.
