International Travel

Participants are not limited to doing their Adventurous Journey in Australia - they can also travel overseas and experience life outside of their normal every day.

It is an incredible opportunity for young Australians to discover new languages and cultures in foreign landscapes, while developing a skill that can be used for a lifetime.

Requirements of other Countries

Some countries have additional requirements Australian Participants need to meet before completing their journey in that country.

This may include some additional training before embarking on your journey, such as in New Zealand.

You can visit the International Award website to find contact details and information on others countries.

Smartraveller

Before any overseas travel you should always consult Smartraveller, the Australian Government's travel advisory and consular assistance service website.

You can find bulletins and news on the country you are visiting, travel tips and information on where to get help overseas.
