Bernie Kilgariff Memorial Scholarship  

The Bernie Kilgariff Memorial Scholarship is available to assist a young Alice Springs school leaver with completion of their tertiary studies in a medical/health related field. The scholarship provides a one-off payment of $3000 for the first year of study.

Higher Education Scholarships  

There are forty Higher Education Scholarships worth $3500 available to school leavers to undertake full-time degree studies.

More Indigenous Teachers  

There are three financial study support programs (commonly referred to as More Indigenous Teachers) in the department to increase the number of Indigenous teachers: cadetships, scholarships and fellowships.

Teacher Education Scholarships  

These scholarships are a key initiative designed to recruit quality teachers. It is an opportunity to gain significant financial support to help gain your teaching qualification.

Vocational Education and Training scholarships  

Twenty scholarships worth $4000 are available to Territorians studying Certificate III to Diploma level courses.

Pre-employment Training Program

The Pre-employment Training Program provides specific training for unskilled or semi skilled people to gain essential industry skills, which may lead to increased opportunities to successfully complete an apprenticeship or gain skilled employment.

Productivity Places Program

The Productivity Places Program assists job seekers to acquire skills and gain lasting employment and assist existing workers to update or upgrade their skills.

User Choice Program

The User Choice Program funds the delivery of structured training and assessment for full-time, part-time and school-based apprentices and trainees in the Northern Territory.

VET in Schools Program

The VET in Schools Program supports VET programs in secondary schools.

Workwear / Workgear Bonus Scheme

The Workwear/Workgear bonus is a one-off grant that apprentices or trainees are eligible for after three months of employment if they began their training contract on or after 4 April 2005.
