The Duke of Ed Online Record Book

Australia is vast, our landscape immense, and our people speak many languages.  Yet through digital technology distances disappear and divides can be crossed.

 Our bold vision to connect with young Australians and increase access and participation in The Duke of Ed through digital communities is now a reality.  In April 2009 The Duke of Ed Online Record Book - the ORB - went online in a test featuring participation from the Northern Territory's Nhulunbuy High and Dripstone Middle School.
 
All young people in Australia can now be empowered to explore their potential and achieve success through access and pariticpation in The Duke of Ed.  If you have access to technology, you new have access to The Award.

 
Integrating online, email and mobile (and in the future, social networking) the ORB gives participants greater connection with each other and their adult mentors.  Regardless of any young Australian's geographic location or life circumstances, experiences that last a lifetime are only a click away.
